Without the story there would be nothing to keep you coming back. Most of these tasks are optional however it gives you a sense of satisfaction to pick out a wallpaper color that you like.

In the story part of the game, Austin is given a set of tasks that he must complete while interacting with other characters.

The game plays out in two individual sections which are the puzzles and the home renovation (story). The home was where Austin grew up and the thought of it being sold off bothers him to the point of deciding to fix the house and convincing his parents to hold on to it. The game begins when Austin takes a trip back to his rural home to see his parents and finds that the estate is run-down and his parents are in the process of selling so that they can move elsewhere.
